Delivering to Las Vegas Casinos

As a shopper with Shipt, you may come across deliveries that require additional steps involving more than just leaving a member's order at their door. Some orders request deliveries at hotels if a member is visiting out of town. Below are some tips and tricks from top shoppers on delivering to a hotel.

  • Make sure you communicate early and regularly with your member about hotel delivery policies. If your member is unable to meet you, please reach out to HQ for further guidance. To find out more about hotel deliveries, click here

  • Getting a head start on a hotel delivery is crucial. Different issues such as road closures, traffic congestion and pedestrian traffic can delay you in making a timely delivery.

  • Sending your member an ETA when leaving the store should give your member enough time to meet in the agreed location.

  • Not all hotels provide free parking. Make sure to check for surrounding parking locations near the hotel you’re delivering to.

  • Consider using a wagon, cart or dolly to transport the order to the member. This helps avoid members having to wait for multiple trips and groceries should not be left unattended.

  • Keep in mind that hotels with Bell Service Attendants may not hold grocery delivery orders, especially with temperature sensitive items.

  • Communicate with your member that an in-person delivery will be necessary when delivering to a hotel.

  • Always use the front entrance when delivering to a member. It’s best to speak with a valet staff to explain that you’re meeting your member for delivery. This ensures that you’re parking in a space place to ensure quick delivery and easy access when leaving.

  • Most hotels do not allow for delivery to a room and will require delivery in the lobby. Because of this, it is best to encourage your member to meet you in the lobby, at the entrance or the front desk as door drop offs are discouraged.
