Shopping for Items on Sale

Have an order that contains an item on sale or BOGO (buy one get one) items? Review the information below to learn how to shop for these items.  



Sale items:

Shoppers may treat sale items exactly as you would any other item.

If a special request item is on sale, shoppers may enter the price they will pay at checkout.

Keep in mind that not all items on sale in the store will be on sale in the app.

If a customer has an issue with their order pertaining to a sale, politely apologize to the customer and suggest that they contact Shipt Support via live chat, support@shipt.com, or 205-502-2500 to get assistance with the issue—the support team will be happy to help!



BOGO items:

When shopping for an item, you can get the exact quantity requested in the app, even if the item is BOGO.

  • For example, if the requested quantity is 3 and the item is BOGO, you may enter 3 of the item, not 4, into the app, and the customer will receive the applicable items at the discounted price.

We offer BOGO items in the “On Sale” category within the Shipt app, and these sales are generally based on the retailer's weekly circular.

*Note: Sales and BOGO items are sometimes handled differently based on the store, such as at Winn-Dixie and BI-LO.



Coupons:

At this time, coupons cannot be honored on Shipt orders. If shoppers receive any coupons while checking out, those may be passed on to the customer at delivery.
